Selfridge’s tends to be pricy so itâs good to visit during sales and maybe get something more exclusive for a better price. Knightsbridge is expensive with Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Burberry occupying the place.

It is a good area to find artsy jewellery, accessories, furniture and clothes. Prices vary, but mostly they are reasonable. Notting Hill is loved by collectors â you can cheaply buy whatever you can find there for your collection â books, stamps, old records. You can also purchase something hand-made or individually designed.
Camden market, a large craft and clothing place, is popular with young people. You can buy original clothes and accessories there quite cheaply as well as at Spitalfields Market.
It is a good idea to stay at a central London hotel as from there it is an easy access to the main London shopping places. Paddington area is ideal for Oxford Street shopping, Kensington is best for High Street and Knightsbridge shops. Notting Hill is walking distance from the Hyde Park hotels and both Camden Market and Spitalfields Market can be easily reached from the Paddington area.
